This book introduces one of such new techniques objecting to the cascading of different fusion methods. In this work, image fusion is between the images of same scene but unfocussed at different regions using a discreet wavelet analysis. Image is reconstructed from the processed components undergoing through the inverse discreet wavelet transform. The performance evaluation of proposed method is based on the measures like Entropy (EN), Image Quality Index (IQI), Peak to Signal Noise Ratio (PSNR), Mean Square Error (MSE).
