It also evaluated ratio of the individual by-products to the total organic halogen. The study suggested special method to detect the total organic halogenated compounds produced in the water samples as a result of water chlorination by mean of disinfection. Finally, the author added experimental ideas about measurement of the TOX in all the water treatment plants of greater Cairo drinking water company (GCWC) showing the seasonal variation in the TOX values during two years of the practical study.
