This book indicates the importance of involvement from the administrative levels of hospitals and government in introducing the appropriate policy of waste management for hospital wastes in order to minimize the health risk. In comparison of hospital waste management systems from other developed and developing countries, the system in the study area is weak in providing the appropriate hazard-awareness trainings for those involved in the waste stream.
