SRC performs thermal, humidity and energy calculations of building spaces following a system-based approach. SRC offers: interoperability, as it is gbxml compatible and thus no special input file format is required and separability as different operations (such as solar and view factor calculation routines) can be performed separately enabling parallel execution and reduction in the overall simulation time. Additionally, active (HVAC, fans,...) as well as passive (openings, blinds, ...) devices with characteristics and operation schedules defined by the user can be included.
