The research areas were highly dominated by the tribal and there was a strong influence of the cultures, customs ,rituals , myths , beliefs etc. High rate of illiteracy among the women , lack of access to the health care facilities , lack of communication , and high dominance of the old myths and rituals was found to be the root cause of the infant and maternal mortality in the mentioned areas .
