This book, therefore, aims to explore the impact of food insecurity on the education of rural children in Kaigaun and Rimi Village Development Committee of Dolpa district (Karnali region). The study provides an account of the food and educational situation as it exists today and the extent of food insecurity across different strata (class, caste and gender) of this rural study villages. The study highlights how and what ways food insecurity affects access of the rural children to education and what is being done to alleviate the situation.
