In pursuit of the above, questionnaires were circulated to what was considered as opportunist sample of mothers who were known either through the creches, churches, mothers and toddler groups etc. In each of their locations, mothers as well as close relations/minders were interviewed. The interview served to facilitate a full explanation of the purposes of the research and to emphasize the importance to the study of obtaining accurate information.
