In Hingoli District, the Cauliflower average farm holding size was 2.90 hectares, of which, irrigated area was 1.89 ha which accounted 65.17 per cent, of total area. Rainfed area was 0.86 ha which accounted 29.65 per cent of total area, permanent fallow and other land was 0.15 ha, which occupies 5.17 per cent of total area. Net sown area was 2.75 ha (94.82 per cent). Similarly, Gross cropped area was 6.43 hectares on cauliflower farm while the gross cropped area on cabbage farm was 6.12 hectares. Area under cauliflower was 0.20 ha which was 3.11 per cent of gross cropped area , whereas, area under cabbage crop was 0.18 hectare which was 2.94 per cent of gross cropped area. The cropping intensity was 233.81 per cent in case of cauliflower farm and 230.94 per cent in cabbage farm.
