Three parental genotypes representing major wheat cultivars harvested in Egypt and Kazakhstan. Field research was carried out under conditions of Egypt and Kazakhstan throughout three vegetative periods (Kazakhstan, 2007; Egypt, 2007; Kazakhstan, 2008). Morphological characteristics of chosen wild, domesticated and hybrid wheats (F1 and F2); mid-parents heterosis; degree of heritability; molecular genetic characteristic of parents; effect of salt concentrations on wheat parents and their hybrids during germination; grains protein patterns; input of peroxidase enzyme in salt tolerance and effect of Triton on productivity of Egyptian wheat cultivars.
