GPS was used to record the position of each sampled plots and observed specimens. Reconnaissance survey and direct observation/measurement was carried out to gather primary data about floral and faunal diversity. Both Direct observation through different transects and indirect evidences through interview and literature survey was carried to enlist mammal, reptile and bird species. The sample plots were laid out randomly with the sampling intensity 1% for trees, 0.5% for shrubs and 0.001% for herbs. The collected data were analyzed by using Arc-view and MS-Excel 2003 software and demonstrated through maps and tables.
