The first method is based on the reaction of ninhydrin with primary amine present in Lisinopril in the presence of DMF solvent. The reaction produces a bluish green color, which absorbs maximally at 600 nm. Beer’s law was obeyed in the concentration range of 10-150 ?g/ml with molar absorptivity of 4.083 ? 103 Lmole-1cm-1 While second method is based on the reaction of ninhydrin with primary amine of Tranexamic acid in the basic medium at pH.8.The reaction produces a blue color which absorb maximally at 565 nm. Beer’s law was obeyed in the concentration range of 3-40 ?g/ml with molar absorptivity of 5.093 ? 103 Lmole-1cm-1.The effects of variables such as temperature, heating time, reagent concentration and stability of color were investigated to optimize the procedures.
