It is practiced in southern India as varma.This method of treatment is very unique as the basis remains an enigma. The points on which pressure is applied is the same as acupuncture points, which lie along 12 meridians, spread along the whole body. This book attempts at the anatomical basis of such points, giving the basic nerves and blood vessels which are related deep to them. The anatomy of 8 extra meridians is detailed.
