Experiences of the Asian Tigers on TVET training revealed its promising impact to enhance income schemes of citizens. As source of income and employment opportunity, TVET training has the ability to address the majority of the population (youth) in developing countries, like Ethiopia. It is established in countries having an intention to produce middle skilled level professionals that play a prominent role in the economy by contributing their role through invention, innovation, at the micro level, employed in their own business, create employment opportunities to others. Though, so many obstacles are geared the TVET system of Ethiopia and the region, the role of the TVET training in the economy to address the most evils of development and to be self reliance is very fundamental. It has the power to create different opportunities for graduates to play their part to ensure sustainable development in the country.
