Moreover, it revealed that even though performance evaluation is conducted annually in the institute not all staff were assessed annually. The book concluded that the aspect of conducting appraisal of staff performance every year should not be handled with levity and that performance appraisal should be a continues exercise rather than a "post Morten" exercise which is currently the situation.
