The purpose of the study was to explore and learn about globalization and its impact on our state’s educational institution strategies to prepare the post Secondary students for challenges globally competitive work environment. Globalization may have contributed to the idea of disappearing boarders and to the opportunity for a larger participation for production and sale of goods in global marketplace. But globalization is not responsible for our lack of investment in focused ideas of workforce development to help prepare a new generation of workers that are educated, technologically savvy, good communicators, decision makers and problem solvers, able to compete with their counterparts from around the globe.
