Bangladesh capital market is one of the smallest market in Asia but the third largest in the South Asian region. Equity market plays an important role in economic development of a country. Economic development is a term that generally refers to the sustained, concerted effort of policymakers and community to promote the standard of living and economic health in a specific region. The equity market believes that a dynamic, automated, transparent stock exchange is needed in Bangladesh. Emerging equity market should be very attractive for risk capital investors. In this book we consider the equity market and recommended to create an emerging equity market in Bangladesh.
