A Reference Guide to Banking and Finance covers the areas of consumer credit; domestic monetary policy; economic stabilization; financial institutions? supervision, regulation, and insurance; general oversight and renegotiations; housing and community development; international development institutions and finance; and international trade, investment and monetary policy. The reference guide is not meant to be exhaustive but rather to define those terms most often used in congressional deliberations.
