The Traveller's Yellow Pages Essential Saint Petersburg is designed to fill the need for an up-to-date accurate Yellow Page telephone directory and guide for foreign travelers visiting Saint Petersburg, Russia. The concept of "Yellow Pages" evolved from our 1991 proposal to the Leningrad Telephone Company to do a full size Yellow Pages in Russian. In October 1991 InfoServices International, Inc. was founded to publish a series of The Traveller's Yellow Pages for major cities in Russia and CIS. In March 1992 and 1993 its wholly owned subsidiaries were opened first in Saint Petersburg and then in Moscow to do research and to bring the concept of advertising in the Yellow Pages to the Russian business community and to facilitate the production of The Traveller's Yellow Pages.
