Over than 200 years, the phenomena of liquid drop impact have been investigated. We can find these phenomena in our daily lives. The simple example is raindrop. We can see that a falling of liquid droplet can exhibit a variety of behaviors. From this simple intuition, the author designs a system in order to observe this phenomenon. Drop impact is a complex interaction of fluid. Generally, there are two possible outcomes of droplet impact onto a solid and dry surface, liquid droplet might deposit on the surface and form a liquid film or the droplet would splash and produce secondary droplets.
