Software engineering applied to this field has few approaches in relation to autonomous systems and intelligent behavior development, while multi-agent system and agent-oriented programming are being increasingly used. This work focuses on applying the paradigm of agent-oriented programming for UAV control, in order to design a framework and use architectures, theories and agent oriented tools as a way to provide a more sophisticated abstraction when programming intelligent behaviors in UAV.
