Various path-loss models of radio wave propagation are compared in this work. Path-loss with different distances are calculated by using Hata-Okumura, Walfisch-Ikegami and Lee models at different environment. The calculated results are used to design a suitable cellular link. It is observed from the compared results that the Walfisch-Ikegami models is more appropriate in urban area for designing a suitable cellular link on the other hand Hata-Okumura model for suburban and rural areas. A suitable cellular link is designed for Rajshahi City Corporation,Bangladesh, that divided into 7 cell reuse pattern in 13 clusters by using Walfisch-Ikegami model. The optimum values of co-channel reuse ratio 4.58 and co-channel interference ratio is 17.35 dB. The cell radius is 1.25 Km and co-channel distance is 5.7 Km.
