This book successfully demonstrated the use of ATRP to prepare in situ tailor-made polymer nanocomposite, random & block copolymer, block copolymer nanocomposite from nanoclay surface, brush like graft copolymer and graft copolymer of high surface energy. It had been observed that the living nature of ATRP was preserved in all above cases. 2-Ethylhexyl acrylate (EHA) had been chosen as the base monomer for all these purposes. Being a low Tg (-65 °C) material, poly(2-ethylhexyl acrylate) (PEHA) has very good film forming property for which it is used in paints, adhesives and coating applications.
