So apparel business is said to be a glorious sector for country's economic growth as well as a vast sector of manpower employment. Despite this economic success of apparel sector, poor level of maintenance management, working environment and safety issues and lake of social compliance act as negative forces. Different fire related disasters in apparel industries frequently occurred because of absent of practicing information based facilities management techniques by the authority. This study tries to describe possible BIM-FM collaborative management approaches to minimize the fire hazard in apparel sector of Bangladesh.
