Renewable energy sources are meant to help the society to develop, to secure the energy needs and also to preserve a cleaner environment, therefore this work treats the implementation of the solar radiation conversion systems within the built environment, showing the savings obtained through their deployment. The area''s solar potential was determined from the daily solar radiation values recorded in a considered region.
