Site modification effects are also often not well represented to fully take into account local conditions of both the rock crusts and the overlying soil sediments. This monograph demonstrates an alternative, and much more effective, method of ground motion modelling and seismic hazard assessment which is particularly suited to applications in regions of low-to-moderate seismicity.
