This book offers a new paradigm shift in water and wastewater treatment. The use of plant materials with coagulants and a disinfection property has been researched, in tandem with plastic anaerobic digesters. The slow sand filter systems for treating water, is well known, but takes time to generate clean water, while more that 1·2 billion people continue to drink suspicious or unsafe water. Research on plant coagulants such as Moringa Oliefera and others, has been thus far limited to the isolation of pure compounds and has taken several years. Minimal efforts though, have been directed towards practical water treatment systems on the ground, which are resilient while utilising available resources.
