This book has been designed to bring attention towards opportunities and barriers within the new climate regime to develop schools to low carbon or climate friendly sustainable schools. This study is entirely based on giving renewable technological options to attainment of zero or low carbon in Easterside Primary School and St Thomas More RC Primary School which is one of the ten’s principle of ‘One Planet Living’ as adopted by Middlesbrough Council in joint partnership with Middlesbrough Environment City. The aim of the study was to develop energy models in order to reduce carbon emissions in Easterside estate through selected schools.
