In the last years more and more istitution started focusing on reducing the cost of space missions. This book proposes new and innovative solutions to design and build low cost systems. The goal is to still achieve a high reliability systems but trying to limit their cost. Several solutions are proposed, from component to sub-system and system level. A practical implementation of the proposed solutions is also presented to show the advantages of the new approaches proposed.
