In hockey, a player requires high level of motor fitness to excel at different levels of competitions. This book provides knowledge about motor fitness of hockey players. Test battery consists seven sub-tests like forward bend reach, standing broad jump, standing shot put, sit ups, 40 meters sprint, shuttle run and 800 meters run. This book will help the coaches, trainers in designing condition programme to improve motor fitness of players to achieve top performance in competitions. Coaches and trainers should conduct periodical fitness tests to evaluate the effectiveness of their conditioning programme.
