Police department is one of the most important components of a society responsible to ensure peace in society. In this way, police play a significant role in the prosperity and development of the county because only peaceful society can guarantee the development of any nation.The current study was designed to explore the perceptions of peoples about New Traffic Police introduced in twin city i.e. Islamabad-Rawalpindi. The exceptional performance of the Motorway Traffic Police encouraged the policy makers to take crucial steps in bringing some changes to the existing police system. The study findings reveal that overall New Traffic Police (NTP) is quite professional and well-organized in its procedures at various divisions of the traffic management while in contrast Old Traffic Police system is disorganized in all the major fields.
