The main focus of this study was to explore the activity pattern and adaptation process of the working women in urban informal sector in Bangladesh. The purpose is concerned with the socio-economic situation and the employment pattern, types of activities and the problems associated with the task where women are mainly engaged in the urban informal sectors in Khulna, Bangladesh. For achieving sustainable economic development, every nation must ensure proper involvement of both male and female manpower in development activities. The study was carried out by using simple random sampling method; household based interview schedule was used to find out the respondents and the sample size was 130.
