Small towns and rural communities in Ghana have the most acute need for improved water supply services. Different private operators and management options exist for private sector participation (PSP) in the management of community water service delivery. However, the required knowledge to guide the engagement of suitable private operators under appropriate management options is not sufficiently available. This publication advances knowledge on this subject. Adopting a case study research strategy, both quantitative and qualitative data were collected and analysed in line with a framework designed to examine and extract relevant materials in relation to the objectives of the publication.
