Since the 1970s, Kenya has witnessed the culture of violence in secondary school strikes. Strikes have increased in intensity and impact by time. It is herein suggested that it MUST be stopped before it obliterates the school system. Roots of the culture of violence are traced to our communities. They include: violence exercised at family level, local communities, public places, drugs, e-media, politics, conflicts, and traditional fundamentalism. This culture is thorny all over the world.
