The general aim of this book is to examine the “Quality of Life” by elderly receiving care in Sweden. The study will investigate elderly who are receiving care, how they conceptualize and express quality of life. It will show how key persons in the elders’ network understand these services and which structural factors are considered important. My interest is the increasing elderly population and the valuable role they play in their various communities.
