In addition, it is not clear as to the intensity of poverty and the nature of household conditions in such female headed household. This book examines the poverty status of FHHs in Uganda and explores the attributes of such status with regard to household conditions and urban areas. Data from the Uganda National Household Survey provided by Uganda Bureau of Statistics provides the basis of analysis. Individuals, international, government and Civil Society Organisations involved in poverty alleviation especially with disaggregated groups like women and Female heads of households will greatly benefit from this book.
