Women and men’s focus group discussions in village Shohal Mazullah and Hangrai in the District Manshera were carried out. To understand the Knowledge, Attitude and Practices of the community, members of households, key informants from both governmental and non-governmental organizations were interviewed. The drinking water quality in study area has improved both in terms of quality and access after earthquake. However, the unsustainable sanitation system was replaced by another conventional sanitation system.
