 The researcher used primary as well as secondary data to assess the survival and human rights condition of elderly people in rural Bangladesh, and focused on demographic profile, survival pattern of elderly people in terms of their basic human needs satisfaction, human rights condition and problems encountered. By analyzing data collected from the study field and consulting the relevant documents the study has thrown light upon a wide range of socio-demographic characteristics of rural aged. He also pointed out clearly how the rural older people survive in the society with the experiences of poor satisfaction of basic human needs, and their human rights abuses in terms of psycho-physical mistreatment along with economic exploitations. He has depicted the health status of rural aged people as well. In the study, the researcher has recommended some suggestions pragmatically based on study findings for the wellbeing of elderly people. Here in the study, a few logical conclusions have...
