At the same time, not everyone has access to this technology, and so the digital divide appears. The scope of this study is to interpret the conditions of public opinion in Egypt, specifically the students in public versus private universities in order to analyze the effect of technology-availability on public opinion. This research focuses on Egypt, as a developing country that has seen several changes in the past years in attempt to change its culture and become more democratized, although it does not have strong technological advancements.
