Kwandhula is an elaborate introduction ceremony of a husband to the wife''s family, among the Basoga and Baganda of Uganda. This book presents an ethnography of the rapidly changing institution of marriage among two of the largest nationalities found in Uganda. The introduction of modernizing influences more than a century ago has resulted in changing many aspects of the way people lead their lives.
