Development Essays is a volume of essays written as assignments in class. They are, however more developed and improved in this book so as to present to readers different subjects related to development issues, and not let them die in four walls of a class room. The essays are written in Africa by an African scholar with influence from the continent. There are, however some influence from other parts of the world in some essays, but the major thinking is from the continent. The thoughts range from local to international issues. The local issues are such as social capital amongst the people in Tanzania and Africa as a whole, problem solution of African problems from indigenous people etc. On international stage there are issues such as sovereignty of poor states against rich non states international actors in international relations.
