It also documents some reasons behind this identity crisis. The study reviews the intensity of identity crisis among the two major ethnic groups of Baluchistan i.e. the Balochs and the Pashtoons. The research used ethnographic methods of data collection. The data was analyzed in the light of the postcolonial and resistance theoretical framework. Lack of education, hegemony of the people from other parts of the country disparity and militarization were found to be the major reason of the identity crisis in the province. The study gives a few recommendations in order to deal with the issue.
