Social networks, for more than two decades, has been reshaping the entire existence and behavior of youths’ communication. It has reduced the distances, strengthened the relationships, and has increased the volume of communication. This book is an exploration of the ways the Ethiopian youths are using social networks, and how they exploit the opportunities and avert their risks. It is a burning issue and an under-researched problem in a country like Ethiopia. The book has analyzed the age and gender dynamics of youths regarding opportunities and threats of using social networks. The findings reveal that Ethiopian youths are very active in using social networks but, since their association to it is not very old, therefore, the level of expertise is very low.
