Описание
This book explores the family crises of Bangladeshi transnational migrant community in Sweden and critically investigated how power was exercised and negotiated by different actors in ways that construct ‘traditional masculinity’. It also explores women’s life after divorce in a connected migrant society, i.e., how migrant woman negotiate their pre- or post-divorced status and what they reveal about their social belonging and social precariousness by talking about threatened, failed or fractured conjugal ties. It also illustrates the birth of modern myths in transnational condition and how these modern myths circulate in different connected diasporic communities. However, this book is a detail ethnographic illustration of women’s life in different cultural settings.
Марина, я защитилась после консультаций с вами. На четверку. Знаете, там были такие "защитники", что даже мне было стыдно за них.... Спасибо Вам за ответственность, за оперативность и честность.
