Women for several decades have not only faced challenges in society in general but these challenges have also been mirrored at workplaces. In the public service, employment inequalities mirrored the discrimination suffered by women and people with disabilities in the wider employment market with particular regard to opportunities in employment, earning levels, benefits and conditions of service.
