This study was aimed at surveying population dynamics of mosquito larvae in tyres in Ago-Iwoye, to reveal the genus composition and the effect of weather on mosquito larvae abundance. Mosquito-borne diseases pose a major threat both to human populations and to the diversity of indigenous fauna throughout the world (Spielman & D’Antonio, 2001)
