The present survey revealed 16 species of termite, of which 06 species are new records for the area studied. Regarding swarming, the present study indicates that wind speed and temperature appear to be the most influencing factors as humidity remained more or less in the same range during the study period. More detailed studies spread over many years are required to finally summarize the exact flight period of different species in relation to environmental factors.
