The title compound, Dapsone, C12H12N2O2S, has been studied by method of X-Ray Crystallography and crystallizes in three molecules asymmetric per unit cell with Monoclinic spce group C2/c and Z=8. The crystal structure is stabilized by intermolecular interactions like N-H...O, O-H...O and intramolecular C-H...O interactions. The ORTEP diagram of 4-[(4-aminobenzene)sulfonyl]aniline showing 50% probability displacement ellipsoids with numbering scheme is shown in this book.
