The colliding protons could then form micro black holes at a rate as high as 1 black hole per second. Following these theoretical predictions, this thesis gives an insight in the predicted black hole creation and their decay. The unique democratic decay of the black holes is studied and used to identify these special events in the ATLAS detector.
