These fungi were isolated and identified and mycotoxin-producers were also detected. The name of mycotoxins present in fungal metabolites were identified by using TLC method.Plant extracts from some medicinal plants were used to control mycotoxin-producers. Plant extracts were also sprayed on contaminated seeds for control. Plant extracts from medicinal plants are promising for controlling seed-borne fungi of many grains and seeds.
