Описание Industrial wastewater pollution is one of the most controversial problems especially in countries like Pakistan. Human activities and the release of industrial wastes have resulted in the accumulation of metals in the environment. Noxious chemicals like heavy metals include cadmium, lead, chromium, copper, nickel, etc., pollute the soils, ground water, sediments and surface waters are present in soluble form. Bioremediation technology uses microorganisms to reduce, eliminate, and transform contaminants present in soils, sediments, water, and air. One of the processes of bioremediation is “biosorption”, by which metal ions are adsorbed from polluted site by microorganisms.Analysis is done by the technique of atomic absorption spectrophotometery. |
